Game Connection Talk to Unveil EISKO's 3d Technology for Real-time Lifelike Characters
28 October 2014. Paris, France. EISKO, the developers of high quality, accurate and ready to use 3D characters for entertainment today announced that it has received investment of 500K Euros/$642K.
EISKO will use the investment, from telecom investment fund Codariane to market and disseminate its 3D capture and reconstruction services giving the unique benefit of delivering lifelike ‘digital doubles’ for video games, movies, advertising and events.
EISKO’s capture system is lightweight, transportable, easy to set up and captures 3D faces geometry and physically-based materials in a full range of expressions to its finest details - in a matter of minutes. The reconstructed model is supplied to clients ready to use in the most popular engines and packages including Unity 5 as showcased in the Unite 2014 keynote.
Speaking at Game Connection on Wednesday 29th October, Cedric’s talk will showcase real-time animations in Unity, demonstrating the reconstruction, shading, and set-up of 3D character models resulting from EISKO’s highly detailed capture data.
Features of the EISKO services include:
• High-quality capture
Thanks to a custom process of data analysis, EISKO outperforms the usual 3d scan quality – in comparison to standard photogrammetry, structured light, lasers, etc.
• Accurate reconstruction
EISKO process removes the need for any sculpting, painting or manual tasks like retopology, protecting the data accuracy from manual work interpretation.
• Ready-to-use integration
EISKO provides animatable and/or animated characters with convenient, clean geometry and physically-based textures, in any standard format.
The delivered mesh and expressions fit the required polygon limit or preferred topology. Easy integration in all pipelines is guaranteed.
